The Southern Black Forest Cycle Path leads 264 km around the idyllic landscapes of the Southern Black Forest Nature Park without any increase in altitude. The journey through the beauty of the Black Forest starts in Hinterzarten in 3 to 4 day stages along the Upper Rhine and on through the Markgräflerland to Freiburg. From there, following the Dreisam, the cycle path continues to Kirchzarten to the train station, from where the train takes you through the romantic Höllental up to the starting point of the tour in Hinterzarten.

If you like to go by bike, there are varied, idyllic and extensive bike paths available. Mountain bikers can enjoy a varied network of trails with open landscapes, mountains and valleys with varied elevation profiles. From leisurely pleasure tours to hammer tours with many meters of altitude, everything is possible here. Racing cyclists will of course also get their money's worth, if you want you can collect altitude meters - and all of this in a fantastic landscape.
